Silver eye makeup
It all feels so made up
Hurting without a sound
Hide in the bathroom
No ill never tell you
Really i wanna be found
Wish you would find me
Guess that you dont know that im alone
Wish you would find me
Bet you think im doin well shit its
Really hard to tell
its Hide and seek
I never say much
My brain always talks cuz
Anxiety fills my mind
Wanna run to my bedroom
Say that im good you?
Dont see my life inside
Wish you would find me
Guess that you dont know that im alone
Wish you would find me
Bet you think im doin well shit its
Really hard to tell
its Hide and seek
Close your eyes and count to 10
Dont listen to a thing ive said
Close your eyes and count to 10
guess ill have to find myself
Wish you would find me
Guess that you dont know that im alone
Wish you would find me
Bet you think im doin well shit its
Really hard to tell
its Hide and seek
Interview
We are very happy with Mia Baron’s visit. We love Hide and Seek music. Thanks for being here.
Tell us about yourself.
My name is Mia and I’m a 13 year old singer from Toronto. I started working on original music about 8 months ago. I’ve recently released my debut single hide and seek and I’m excited for my upcoming releases in the near future.
We would like to know your history as an artist.
I discovered my love for music when I was about 9 years old. I started getting solo parts at choir and that’s when I realized how much I love and want to pursue singing. I started vocal lessons and participated in a few competitions and it just continued on from there to today.
Tell us the story of this song.
Hide and seek is a story about my own experience at middle school. I was the new kid at school and had no real friends. I felt very lonely and like I didn’t belong. I used to hide in the bathroom during breaks, wanting for someone to realize I wasn’t there and come looking for me, but no one ever did.
Tell us a funny story from your career.
I have had some really fun times recording and having laughs while “working”. One time I came out of the recording booth and sat down to hear what I had just finished recording and I got pranked by the recording studio producer with a totally off key edit, which caught me by surprise at first and then we just had the best laughs.
Also tell a story of overcoming.
Hide and seek has a good ending because I eventually overcame that dark period in my life. You come to realize that you have the power to change things for the better yourself, just be more open and outgoing and don’t be afraid of rejection. There’s someone out there that needs you and thinks you’re important.
Leave a message for your fans.
Always know your worth and that you matter. Everyone is unique in their own way and everyone is loved by someone.
